Welcome to the Compositions page, an online bibliography project designed to present all compositions related to double bass in solo, concertato, chamber and orchestral genres. At the present this is a Beta-Project in-development, as the full set of criteria related to the systematization and cataloging of these genres is still in the process of development.

This project starts with Solo Compositions as the most prominent part of the cumulative double bass repertoire and will continue in time with the other genres. The time required for completion of this endeavor will take years, but as the saying goes Every Journey Starts with the First Step, thus this journey had to be started as well in order to be completed. The benefit of this catalog in respect to all other ever attempted is that it will be free, online, fully interactive with all other online media and most importantly, accessible to everyone planet-wide.

The procedures, formats, sources, bibliography and all other documentation that is necessary to document this project will be posted at the completion of the project, and once the catalog evolves to its final form. Lastly, all the new pages and updates for the Compositions registry pages will be posted on the ABP Site Development index, which you are welcome to consult at your discretion.
